What Would Life Be Like Without?

What would life be like without?
Without a home to run to when
you're not welcome in the world.

What would life be like without
a bed to lay in and a pillow for
your head to rest,
to comfort you face when your heart fails
the test of love. And you cry.

What would life be like without the
walls to stand so the posters can
hang for the eyes to see and your
mind to be free enough-- to dream.
What would life be like without?

What would it be like without family?
Moms teach you about life, Dads show
you how to be smooth, little brother all
up in ya groove and Grandma shares
her wisdom on how to mooooove, through
life.
What would life be like without?

What would it be like without happiness?
You know, those memories you reflect on,
and the pain you project on, to the paper
that ejects from my mouth, to the tape, so
that the world can hear my truth. My story.
My life.

I-Am-Happy, because I allow myself to
speak from the heart, to personify the art
that God gave the start and existance.
What would life be like?

What would life be like without dreams?
From the sunsets of exotic islands to
Californian tides and rollercoaster rides
and sharing love inside the arms of love
itself.
What would it be like to be free?

I am an orphan who asks.... what
would life be like without a storty
to live? Because so far as I can tell,
life would just simply be...... empty.

"What would life be like without the walls to stand so the posters can hang for the eyes to see and your mind to be free enough-- to dream." The world would be an empty canvass, devoid of expression, meaning and conflict. I appreciate your written passion, please continue...

The third stanza stands out for me, especially the line 'your mind free enough to dream' Beautiful you, beautiful.
